Ancarva has the benefit of 80 metres of direct water frontage. It has its own private pontoon suitable for yachts up to 13 metres in length with suitable shallow draft. The mooring provides excellent access to the Tamar estuary and beyond to Plymouth sound and the excellent coastal waters of the South West coast line.
The house sits in an enviable position with excellent views and great access to the water. Southdown is a very small settlement of only a few houses and is very tranquil and peaceful. The facilities of Millbrook, Cawsand and Kingsand are all within easy reach. The golden sandy beaches of Whitsand Bay are all within 2 miles of Ancarva.
The Rame Peninsular, also known as hidden Cornwall, is a designated area of outstanding natural beauty and has many wonderful hidden villages to explore. The Mount Edgcumbe estate can be found here which has wonderful grounds and gardens abutting the estuary and sea.
