Set high on the cliffs overlooking Whitsand Bay on the Rame Peninsula, The View lives up to its name. Whatever the weather, looking out from the bistro-by-day, restaurant-by-night is awe-inspiring – Eddystone lighthouse is visible in the distance and you can see all the way to the Lizard on a clear day.
This is our firm favourite for breakfast, lunch or just coffee and cakes. The Canteen offers exceptional food for all, yes that right even vegans. If you have a particular dietary requirement they will usually be able to rustle up something for you which wont disappoint.
This is a very nice gastro pub but you will definitely have to book well in advance of your stay! You wont be disappointed though... The Devonport Inn is situated on the Cleave in Kingsand and has lovely views out across the bay. It has a rustic feel and you will feel very much on holiday here.
The Halfway House is a lovely pub offering a good varied menu with good quality food always on offer.
For a first class breakfast you cant do any better than the Cliff Top Cafe at Whitsand Bay. Sit outside and take in the breathtaking views whilst enjoying a cup of coffee or a spot of lunch and then, if your feeling energetic take a brisk walk down to the beach.
Step into this area of outstanding natural beauty and enjoy this hidden corner of Cornwall. You will be amazed at what this area has to offer, and you will want to keep on coming back for more. Breath-taking scenery, unspoilt beaches, stunning historic houses and beautiful gardens a wonder to behold.
